School choice is a wonderful freedom that many parents treasure: we can choose to enroll our children in a public, private, or charter school, or we can opt to homeschool them. For years it has been common knowledge that students who are not enrolled in public school miss the vast amount of elective opportunities enjoyed by their public school peers. In fact, the largest educational deficit they face is in the field of music.
That is, until today.
The Daggett School of Music is poised to support students in any schooling situation. Mr. Daggett has spent the last 13 years in the public schools as a K-12 music educator and the last 25 years as a performer. He has seen the possibilities of what music education can do for young people. His goal is to give all students, regardless of school choice, a place to learn and develop their musical “chops”.
Whether it is through drumming, guitar, rock band, or choir, the Daggett School of Music exists to grow the next generation of musicians, today!
